Treating obstructive sleep apnea is important because sleep impacts our daily lives and overall health.  Sleep apnea results in daytime sleepiness or generalized fatigue leading to decreased productivity at work and increased risk for accidents.  People with sleep apnea may wake with headaches and have the tendency to be more forgetful.
